As specialists in digital accessibility we consider it very important to offer our own website in an accessible way. In this statement you can read what we do to make and keep our website krafters.nl accessible.
Design and technology
Our website was designed and developed by Krafters in Tilburg. Our own digital accessibility specialists were closely involved in the development. We also consult periodically with the WCAG specialists at Cardan.
Content and editorial
Our editors are trained in placing content accessibly. Before and after publishing new content we always run an extra check. This means the editor asks a colleague for feedback to catch any missed issues.
Monitoring and assurance
To assure quality we carry out extra checks and invest in the knowledge and training of our staff. We do this in the following ways:
We have our website checked every year with a quickscan.
When we make major changes to the website (design or technology) we perform a full inspection ourselves on the changed part.
New staff are trained internally with the latest knowledge on digital accessibility.
We actively offer our staff further training and encourage self-study.
